How to Register Your Business/Company/Incorporated Trusteeship/Religious Organizations with the Corporate Affairs Commission in 2 weeks or less.

Dear Readers,

I will like to say a BIG THANK you for reading this free report. I am very sure that after reading this free report you will worry less as to how to go about a formal incorporation with the CAC. I will be revealing to you the details in formalizing a name with the corporate affairs commission in 3 weeks or less.

The Corporate Affairs Commission (The body responsible for registering of businesses) was established by the companies and allied matters act, which was promulgated in 1990 to regulate the formation and management of companies, formalizing incorporated Trusteeships, registration of schools, religious organizations, NGO’s, etc in Nigeria.

The establishment of the Corporate Affairs Commission as an autonomous body was as a result of the perceived inefficiency and ineffectiveness of the erstwhile Company Registry, a department within the Federal Ministry of Commerce and Tourism which was then responsible for the registration and administration of the repealed Companies Act of 1968.

For instance, if you want to register a business name, you can do it in two ways. One is to engage the services of a lawyer or Business consultants in CAC matters and they will get it done for you with about N20,000- N25,000.

The second way to get your business name registered is to do it YOURSELF. Yes, you can walk into any branch of the corporate affairs commission and you will get your business registered.

The trouble with this is that if you do not know the secrets of going about it, you will spend months trying to get your business name registered. And I've not even considered those that will be asking you for bribe before you get your business done. This report will reveal the secrets to you.

BUT WHY DO YOU EVEN NEED TO HAVE A CORPORATE NAME
Benefits attached to having a corporate name are so numerous but I will highlight few here.
·         It gives you a self esteem
·         It is an identity
·         It is an investment for the future
·         It can give you freedom
·         It is easier to raise fund as a business than individual
·         It is a way to create a brand name for marketing purpose
·         etc.

list of small business series continued.....................

16. PHOTOGRAPHER: Previous experience and formal training may not be needed to venture into this line of business as there are ready tools available in the market to perform different operations such as editing, printing, framing, styling, Photoshop software, etc. Making money as a photographer can be done in a number of different ways. You can specialize in one area, the most common being weddings and social functions. All you require is a professional camera, a mobile printing device and your call cards, visit any social function dressed as corporate as possible so as not to be bounced by the security guys, take one or two snapshot of guests most especially ladies, quickly find a safe place to plug your printer and extra batteries for charging, before the show ends look for people you have snapped and give to them at N100 or more, you can make as much as N20K-N50K at a particular event. There are niches you can explore for photography: portraits of people and their pets, families and homes; photographs of holiday events, birthday parties or model photo shoots, film makers, students, religious gatherings, etc. The possibilities are endless and the capital to invest is not a cut-throat.
17. WEDDING PLANNER: Before I got married I visited a wedding planner shop on Aromire street Ikeja and I was impressed at how much people pay for the services of  a wedding planner, anyway I didn’t make use of their service but I learnt one or two thing from them which helped in making my wedding event a success. However, the rich and busy type of  people in the society doesn’t really have all the time going to the market to shop for this and that, they prefer to give the service to a wedding planner. You will need to be up-to-date on wedding trends and fads, dress styles, color trends--almost everything under the sun! Offer your customers an ala carte menu of services, from helping pick flowers, the wedding gown and bridesmaid dresses to picking the venue and hiring the caterer. Before you open your business, shop at all the wedding shops, and even pretend you are a bride-to-be to see what kinds of services the wedding gown shop provides and how they treat potential customers. You need to know every detail of the business to give the accurate impression that you are the go-to person for anyone planning a wedding. For you to succeed in this line of business, I advise you to just do one perfect wedding job and others will keep coming like a virus.
18. COMPUTER TRAINING: If you have a basic knowledge in computer training and applications you are on your way to become a teacher to many people. It will amaze you to know that only about 20% of Nigerian population is actually computer literate. My brother once offered to train people for free on Sundays after lecture at NASFAT in Ipaja Lagos, he confessed that there was a large turnout even working class people. You should offer training in desktop computers and mini computers such as laptops, palmtops, I-pad and tablets. You could probably make a living helping seniors learn how to use the internet and e-mail to keep in touch with their loved ones, send applications, online exams/TEST, etc. Make the training as much fun as possible; people do not want to know all the details about what makes a computer work. If you overload them with information from the beginning by explaining bits, bytes, and megapixels, they will stick to their paper and pencil forever. You can start this venture with fairly used computers scattered all over Computer village in Ikeja Lagos. Talk to people in your  neighborhood by printing an advert for a free computer lesson, get their database and give them basic trainings afterwards introduce more complex ones and ask for a little fee.
19. ELECTRIC FENCE WIRE INSTALLATIONS: Fences are everywhere and they also add beauty to the structures and buildings in the society. The quest to improve on external invasion, burglary, theft and encroachment has necessitated the need for a more technical way of protection. The electric fence wire is really the vogue now, and the training is not hard to comprehend. Just undergo the training first and the materials for executing your job abound everywhere with installation guide and manuals. The start-up cost is basically the training fee and tools like cutting tools, hand gloves, measuring tapes, plum, etc.
20. GRAPHIC DESIGN: One major landmark about the computer is, you could probably become a professional in any field by accident. Graphic design is one of the “Experts by Accident” job am talking about. At least with the little time I have spent on the computer in the last 2 years, I can create a simple design for anything I want to do. Despite the proliferation of the internet, print media is still relevant to the foreseeable future! Fliers, newsletters, magazines, information sheets, letters and advertisements are just a few of the types of print media that business hires Graphic Artist to create for them. Websites and online advertising need graphic design services as well. Even if your expertise is only in design, offer the works for potential clients, friends, and small businesses. Much software abounds in the market to help you through. I know of a guy who designed my wedding invitation cards, his business name is KUKUGRAFIX, as a student, he does good graphic jobs using just his laptop and pay-as-you-go internet connection.

HOW TO OVERCOME THE FEAR OF STARTING A BUSINESS OF YOUR OWN

DREAM BIG

You must first of all dream and imagine WHAT you want to be? Dreaming in this context does not requires you to lay your beddings and bury yourself under the duvet snoring, dreams here refers to visualization and conceptions born out of the desires to achieve an objective. Secondly, WHERE do you want to be? Where you wish to find yourself within a particular time frame is pivotal to setting your agenda. HOW you wish your life would be? WHEN do you want to make your DREAM a reality, do you have any time frame?

COME UP WITH AN IDEA.

You will need an idea for a business before you do anything else. This should be something you are passionate about, since your new business will consume a great deal of your time and money. Come up with business ideas by identifying things people need which no one else currently provides or things that are trending as a matter of change in taste, fashion, policies of government, or things that isn’t provided in your area, or which you can provide better than anyone else.

CONSIDER IF IT IS PLAUSIBLE.

Before going too far, think about how plausible your idea is. Is it something that people would actually pay for? Will it turn enough of a profit to be viable? You will also need to be sure that it is possible to implement.

BE SURE IT’S UNIQUE.

Whatever your idea is, be sure it’s as unique as possible. This will help you eliminate or significantly combat competition, which will make your business more successful. By simply adding a flavor to currently existing product can do the magic.

DETERMINE YOUR COST OF OPERATION.

You will need a solid business plan to present to any investors and the best place to start would be with determining your basic cost of operations. This will outline and help you determine how much money is needed to produce the product or offer the service you intend to offer or produce. Knowing your cost of operations will be vital to determining if your business will be profitable, since you will need to make more than this capital plus operating expenses in order to remain in business.

DETERMINE YOUR POTENTIAL MARKET.

Be realistic. How many people will realistically use your business? How much will they pay to use your services? If either number is too small in comparison to how much it will cost you to stay in business, then you should reconsider or change your plans.

DETERMINE OBSTACLES.

You will need to plan ahead for all of the problems which can get in the way of running a business, evaluate your competition, if their market share or product offering is too strong and stable, and then you will have a very hard time breaking into the market. No one will want to buy an equally priced or more expensive version of a perfectly good product or service which already exists. You will also need to explore the associated regulations and laws, especially regarding taxes. Make sure there are no prohibitive costs, such as equipment which is too expensive to make the business profitable.

WRITE UP A BUDGET.

Once you have a general idea of how much money you have to work with, write up a budget for marketing which indicates how much money you have available to spend on advertising. If your business wouldn’t warrant your customers to see you physically before they get the product or services, then you can explore the power of e-commerce, online marketing, referral marketing and the likes as they presently offers the cheapest cost of advertising.

CREATE IDEAS FITTING YOUR BUDGET.

Once you know how much money you have, research the costs of different types of marketing and come up with ideas which fit those methods and are effective for the price range. If you have a lot of money to spend on marketing, for example, you can consider shooting a commercial. If you have almost none, you’ll want to think about ways to use social media effectively, which is very effective for requiring little money.

PLAN TIMING AND LOCATION OF MARKETING.

Once you know what kind of marketing you intend to do, think about the most effective places to advertise and what time of day, month or year are going to work best to reach your target market. You will want to be sure that you are using marketing which is appropriate to the type of people you expect to be interested in your product or services. So consider usability and physical location as well. If your services are seasonal you will want to consider what the best time of year would be to advertise. Also, television advertisements will need to be timed so that the right demographics will be watching when they air.

TALK TO A BANK OR ANY OTHER SMALL BUSINESS FUNDING INSTITUTIONS.

Talk with a bank with which you already have a positive relationship. Ask about what kind of business start-up loans they offer and how they can benefit your business. By using a bank you already know, the bank will have easy access to your financial records and will be more confident in investing with you.

DETERMINE WHERE YOUR OFFICE WILL BE SITUATED.

You will need a space from which to run your business. This can be a home office if you require little space and will not have employees, or it can require an entire workshop or warehouse. It depends on what you will be doing and how big you intend your business to be. Some people’s car actually serves the purpose of office, mobility and pleasure. Nowadays, there are VIRTUAL offices scattered all over the place, you will only need to pay-as-you use or pay for number of calls/correspondence and business meetings you held therein, An example is a firm that provide virtual office is WORKPLACE PLUS  LTD located at NNPC Mulliner Tower Ikoyi Lagos,Nigeria.

PURCHASE EQUIPMENT.

Purchase all of the things you need to start work. This can mean mechanical equipment, computers, telephone, or craft supplies. It all depends on what you are doing. Try to purchase from firms that will offer discounts for starters

MAKE USE OF MARKETING AND PR.

You will want to reach out to potential customers in ways that make them want to use your business. This is especially important when you are first starting, before you have an established, regular customer base. Advertise in a way that catches customers attention at a minimum and hopefully goes beyond to capture their imagination. Be creative and appeal to the right
