HOW TO WORK PART TIME AND EARN FULL TIME IN A DYNAMIC ECONOMY

Have you ever dreamt of working part-time and yet still earning full time? Yes, this is a craving rumbling in the minds of so many employees and unemployed who desires to live like a boss. There are two popular options needed to achieve this aspiration, one, is to be able to work very HARD and the other, is to be able to work very SMARTLY. Ironically, it is not the amount of hours that you put into a working day that will ultimately bring the desired return, but rather, the amount of productivity you put into the hours spent. Therefore, instead of jumping from one task to another and end up doing nothing efficiently it is far better to plan your day so you can maximize your resources.

Financing your dream side income business proposition sometimes does not need a large sum of money. All you need is a good idea and the ability to put together a business plan that will convince investors that you can make good returns from the investment. When people are swayed that you can earn reasonable income from the business idea, getting them to invest in your proposition will not be a daunting task.

To go the way of the SMART-TRACK, a whole lot of millennial entrepreneurs are venturing into the World Wide Web business characteristically because they have dreams of having time all for themselves, sitting on their couches with laptops on and cash deposits dropping in their accounts continuously for every visit and click on their pages.

By working smartly and in order to work part-time but earn full time, it is better to take your business idea online where majority of the prospects are looking out for products and services to buy. I have earned more money online in the past 4 years than any other period of my work-life. There are many people operating at the moment making a full time living out of info-products on the internet and I am one of the lots out there. Some books will show you everything you need to know, how to produce a very profitable and regular income from a loophole that has been brought about by the

BEFORE I SACKED MY BOSS HERE IS WHAT I DID AS A SELF-EMPLOYED AND WORK-AT-HOME ENTREPRENEUR

“I’ve missed more than 9,000 shots in my career. I’ve lost almost 300 games. 26 times I’ve been trusted to take the game's winning shot and missed. I’ve failed over and over and over again in my life and that's why I succeed.” - Michael Jordan

I have never come across any successful business person who said it was easy being an entrepreneur. Bill Gates of Microsoft, Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook, Aliko Dangote of Dangote group, Ryan Graves Of Uber, Femi Otedola Of Zenon, Linda Ikeji, Jan Koum of whatsapp, Razak Okoya of Eleganza, etc, all have some tales to tell about the pros and cons of entrepreneurship. Are you ready for product launch or you're in the early stages of your startup, just been availed funding for your startup, there will always be a time when you ask yourself if this whole entrepreneur thing is worth it at all.

With the current economic recession biting hard on the fortunes of Nigerian economy in terms of dwindling earnings from oil proceeds, federal monthly allocations has shrunk considerably resulting in many states of the federation unable to fulfill their financial obligations. Salaries are being owed, pensions are not paid to retirees, leave allowances and bonuses are owed in billions, infrastructural developments and social welfare is in a state of comatose and ultimately there is continuous rise in the prices of commodities especially staple foods and amidst all of these is daily job loss and pay cut by companies.

Consequently, the recession hit the private sector more as they rely heavily on the patronages of the public sector for survival and profiteering. However, the recession has led to the collapse and closure of many once thriving businesses with large numbers of employees and staff. Many laid-off employees have resorted to self-empowerment or work at home entrepreneurs due to the misfortune brought about by the mismanagement of the economy by our leaders and private sector stakeholders.
Before you jump out of the ship of 9-5job, I would rather advised that you start something by the side while still on you current employment, set some funds aside to sustain the period of learning a new trade, or better still keep your salary job until the coast is clear to sail away to the entrepreneurial world.  I started testing the waters of entrepreneurship while still receiving salary from Guaranty Trust Bank Plc, I was doing part-time consultancy in the area of business proposals, company registrations, Tax filings and so on. I saved some amount of money and borrowed some funds from friends and family members to eventually kick-start the brand name I am known for today, PROSPECTIVE IDEAS NIG ENT. This little company has turnover millions of naira in sales and commissions, the ultimate thing to do right from the outset is to know what you really want to achieve with your new found sojourn. ‘FAILURE TO PLAN IS PLANNING TO FAIL

DO YOU NEED AN EXTRA INCOME: START SMALL AS AN ONLINE BUSINESS ENTREPRENEUR

Thinking about starting a business to earn extra income but not sure how to begin? The first step is to find a business idea that you are knowledgeable about, a business venture that goes with your passion, suits your needs, lifestyle and budget. The modern day challenge does not allow for sloppiness when it comes to matter of income generation. The global economy is at the moment witnessing shortfalls here and there, a single source of income is not enough to cater for the never-ending needs and aspirations of the ordinary people and the more reason to engage in extra-activities to augment your salary or current earnings.
I started trying my hands on some online business even before I tendered my resignation letter in 2009, I was into paypal business and some other browsing tweaks at that period, however, being an online entrepreneur is very pleasing but not everyone can become one. One of the fastest and simplest ways to become a successful entrepreneur is by working online either through a home-based entrepreneur business or from your current paid job via your PC, Phones and other internet enabled devices.

Firstly, you need to evaluate your strengths and weaknesses. After the evaluation, you can now determine if you can manage your own online business. Aside from the evaluation process, you must know how to plan, organize, staff, and control. These are your responsibilities as an entrepreneur. You should be able to work alone because now you're the boss and all business decisions will be made by you.

Some say that online businesses can be run without many problems. Well, they are very wrong because even with an online business, you have to deal with certain business problems and risks. You can't eliminate such risks because that goes hand in hand with any business undertaking, both for online and offline businesses. However, you can reduce the risks that you're bound to deal with in the future by choosing the best home-based entrepreneur business that will work for you.

Entrepreneurs are known to be self-starters. Organizing your time is a difficult task but if you want to run a home-based online business, you should be able to do it. Remember, you don’t have a boss that you can rely on. This is your business and you have to be responsible for it at all times.

Running your own business would also mean that you have to deal with different kinds of persons. You will surely encounter demanding customers, moody vendors, and an unreliable staff. To become a successful home-based business entrepreneur, you should know how to deal with them individually. You should know the peculiarity of every person that you encounter so that you can address them and the situation correctly.

Running an online business is all about your attitude and character. According to some experts who conducted researches about the characteristics of entrepreneurs, there are certain traits that an entrepreneur should possess. As mentioned earlier, entrepreneurs

7 MOST IMPORTANT GUIDELINES FOR FIRST TIME ENTREPRENEURS: PRACTICAL STRATEGIES FOR STARTING CORRECTLY

The current economic reality is a Tonic to being a good entrepreneur because technology has created a global business platform as well as propelled a great entrepreneurial trend. As a business owner, you now convey more access to info that enables you to definitely make smart decisions more quickly. You might have an advantage over the established companies because you are lighter, way more versatile, and quicker in your preferences. You can focus on new marketplaces more quickly, and you may turn on out of pocket.

By looking at the main issues and complying with plans from starting to the end is a condition to being a successful entrepreneur. Here are some useful guidelines that will help you as a beginner in the business world:

1.      AVOID JUMPING THE SHIP:  Don’t stop your salary work abruptly, Consider beginning your business part-time, especially if it can be transacted online while you’re operating and have a stable income. This usually takes 6 months to 12 months to get a company going and you do not want your own ability to pay your house rent rest upon your new business being an instant success. Begin with what you can manage, monetarily and time-wise, and range up as your company grows.

2.     DISCOVER AND IDENTIFY YOUR AREA OF SPECIALIZATION: It is better to identify a particular niche market where you have a competitive edge in terms of skill, expertise and knowledge, most especially if the business will start online; people are always looking for companies that focus on their needs or problems. You have to look for a need or something a particular group of people would like, but cannot get from what your bigger firms offers and fill this need. Since you cannot compete with the top guys, it therefore, means you have to discover where the established companies are not and go into such market. A friend of mine Adebiyi OLanrewaju who owns Fadeex Express and Logistics started his courier and logistic business 3years ago by identifying areas where top firms such as FEDEX, DHL, UPS, EMS SPEEDPOST, EPS, ERRANDEX, etc fails to ply their trade, his company is already growing in leaps and bounds

3.     BEGIN SMALL TO GROW LARGE: It is always better to start a new entrepreneurship project in a small way and learn the ropes, watch the trends and build on the experience you have gathered in order to make your business a successful enterprise. The stories of Dangote, Eleganza, Facebook, Microsoft, Apples, etc are just few of the many big brand names that have become a phenomenon in the business world today. Instead of building castles in the sky with your tall dreams, it is better to start small and grow big.

4.      BUILD AN ONLINE BRAND WITH FOR EASY ACCESS: Even if you are not going to start an online retail enterprise, consider that this internet can play a very important marketing role for your company. Getting an online presence removes the limitations associated with physical area and broadens your consumer bottom by millions. It is also a useful thingy for marketing yourself and also letting individuals, even in your own personal area, realize that you’re generally there.

5.     BUILD TRUST AND BE CONSISTENT: For new entrepreneurs to succeed in the volatile business environment of the 21st century dominated by the market leaders, you need to build a long lasting trust of your brand in the hearts of your target audiences. And trust alone will not achieve the overall objective but one also needs to be consistent in your dealings with new and existing clients. Once your business is built on utmost good faith accompanied with consistency, the sky is the starting point to greatness.

6.     DO NOT QUIT. Effective entrepreneurship needs creativity, power, and the zeal to keep moving when you fall short of your initial plan.  “Arm yourself along with optimism to obtain beyond the actual ‘No’ as well as trouble. There is nothing

7 Tips to Becoming a Millionaire

Becoming a millionaire is easier than it's ever been.
Many people have been writing me with the notion that it's an impossible task. They say, "It's pure luck. You have to be born into a rich family. You'll have to win the Lotto. Your parents have to help you out a lot."
A single mother with five children wrote the following, "Daniel, I read your article and I believe in what you're saying. However, I'm 50 years old and work long hours at two dead-end jobs. It's Christmas time and I barely have enough money to buy gifts for my children. What should I do?"
Another man wrote, "Well, if you work for the government or a non-profit, you cannot expect to become a millionaire. After all, you're on a fixed salary and there’s little time for anything else. By the time you get home, you've got to play with the kids and entertain yourself."
These queries got me thinking of the true possibilities of wealth all over the world, particularly in America. I've seen people come to America who speak little to no English, have no connections, no money, or formal education, but have still been able to create fortunes for themselves and others.
The truth is that all of us can become as wealthy as we decide to be. None of us is excluded from wealth. If you have the desire to receive money, whatever the amount, you have all of the rights to do so. There's no limit to how much you can earn for yourself.
Money is like the sun. It does not discriminate. It doesn't say, "I will not give light and warmth to this flower, tree, or person because I don't like them." Like the sun, money is abundantly available to all of us who truly believe that it is for us. No one is excluded.
Here are 7 tips to becoming a millionaire:

1. Change Your Thinking

You have to see the bigger picture. When most people see just trees, you need to look at the entire forest. This way, you'll be able to chart your read more.....7 Tips to Becoming a Millionaire

11 GENUINE REASONS WHY YOU NEED TO START YOUR OWN BUSINESS

When I was resigning from Gtbank Plc some 6 years ago, many of my colleagues thought I was applying to another bank for a better offer but I told them I was just tired of the system and needed to fulfill a lifelong career as an entrepreneur. Few years down the line I have the cause to develop business ideas for my old colleagues, craft business plan and proposals and even went ahead to register their businesses with the corporate affairs commission. Many of my colleagues in the bank had joined the train of self employment because it is the best decision to take when you have worked in an environment like the banking institutions where “monkey works only for baboon to eat the largest chunk of the productivity”. However, if you are the type who does not like challenges and prefers to operate in a “work to rule environment” a white collar jobs such as banking would not be a bad idea. As for me so many reasons pushed me out of the bank and not necessarily the pay package or the imminent banking crisis I foresaw was going to happen after I left. Here are my 11 reasons for going into entrepreneurship.. related article http://hollalaycan.blogspot.com.ng/2015/09/outstanding-features-effective.html

1.     FREEDOM FROM DAILY ROUTINE: I honestly detest monotonous and boring activities which do not really bring out the creative part of me. The bank work was all about “deposit and account opening routine”, the creativity part of it rest with the executive directors and board room members. As a result of this, I got tired early on the job so quitting was imminent.
2.     LIBERTY TO DO WHAT I WANT AND WHEN I WANT: With entrepreneurship, the liberty is absolute and there is no limit to experimenting with what pleases your mind unlike the 9-5 salary job where your lifestyle depends on the rules and ethics of the employer or company that pays your wages.

3.     IMPROVE MY LIVING STANDARD: There is the notion that no one can be richer than his employer while still working in that establishment. Am not striving to become like Bill Gates nor be as wealthy as Dangote but in order to improve my standard of living I need to do something that aligns with my living standard. Related article..http://hollalaycan.blogspot.com.ng/2015/09/top-5-reasons-why-self-employed.html
4.     I WANT CREATIVE FREEDOM: According to Yahoo answers, Creative Freedom is the right to speak one's mind and adhere one's beliefs without any fears of being opposed violently. How many people in paid employments enjoy this creative freedom even when the fundamental human right is enshrined in the national constitution? Only entrepreneurship could afford these privileges.

5.     TO BE ABLE TO FULLY UTILIZE MY SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EDUCATION: In most corporate establishments, it is square peg in a round hole, so many recruitments are conducted on favoritism, ethnicity, family lineage/background and paper weight qualifications. Some employees with Degrees in pharmacy needs not be a cash officer in a bank; I was opportune to work with colleagues whose qualifications were even far ahead of some of our bosses. If these fellows had the opportunity to fully utilize their skills, knowledge and education, they will perform better and be more productive. 6.     MY HEAD WAS FULL OF PRODUCTS/IDEAS/SERVICE THAT PEOPLE NEED: Right from my primary school days, I have always liked to engage in business activities. I had the opportunity to go with my mum on trading trips which sometimes last for 3-6days. Since then, I have always wished to become a business person just like my mum. In my higher institutions days, I had business fetching me money on campus, even during my I.T, I never did my internship with a corporate firm, rather I team up with friends and we do Interlocking paving stone installations for people. During my NYSC In Akwa-Ibom state, I was trading in Crayfish and Palm-oil because the state had the largest crayfish market(Ibaka, Ata-bong) in Africa and their palm-oil is one of the best in the country. So it all seems my head was going to blow up if I don’t start a business of my own.
7.     I WANT TO DEVOTE MORE TIME FOR MY FAMILY: The desire to really foster close ties with members of my immediate and extended family is one of the reasons why going into business was inevitable. My parents really gave their all during

THINK LIKE AN ENTREPRENEUR AND LIVE LIKE A BOSS

In order to BE a self-employed person I had to start thinking like one. I found myself reverting to that nine-to-five mentality.  If I wasn’t accomplishing a task every hour, then I must not really be working.
Sometimes a self-employed person has to make decisions about his business.  Sometimes he is just thinking about a solution to a problem. Sometimes he just has to quiet his mind so new ideas can come. Just because you’re not pounding away at the computer system every minute doesn’t mean you’re not working.

I’ve also learned that it’s okay to answer the phone every time it rings.  That’s why SMS and chats are also created to add value to business communications, and the same goes for email.  At my nine-to-five job I would leave the email program open all day and answer each one as it arrived.  It took me a while to realize it’s okay to only check email several times a day instead of constantly being interrupted. It’s actually more productive than having to stop your thought process every time “you have mail.”

You’re going to have days when you feel you didn’t accomplish much.  Then again, you’ll have days when you’ll feel you can conquer the world and you’ll be amazed at
