“Seven Deadly Sins
Wealth without work
Pleasure without conscience
Science without humanity
Knowledge without character
Politics without principle
Commerce without morality
Worship without sacrifice.”—Mahatma Ghandhi.
Much has
been said about the CAN President in the person of Ayo Oritsejafor, he (Ayo)
ought to know by now that the whole story about the botched arm deal is a bad
omen to his priesthood. How else in this world would it have been imagined if the
Pope of the Catholic Church is involved in illegal or black market purchase of
Arms and Ammunitions for the Italian Government? It is unholy, ungodly and sacrilegious.
What I seems
not to fathom of the whole saga is the fact that the Nigerian Government has
evasively hidden the identities of the supposedly two officials alongside the
Israeli ,Eyal Mesiaka caught with $9.3million on board the Private jet of the
CAN President in South-Africa. Were the government officials involved in the
failed illegal arms deal on government payroll or could it be they were only hired as consultants for the sting operation to procure arms for the Government or
Christian Association of Nigeria?
When will
the government asked the church to formally update and modify its memorandum
and articles of association to a profit oriented entity since Oritsejafor has a
corporate organization with which he leased the private jet in question?
