CBN, Dangote, others seek entrepreneurship revolution - Vanguard News


The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN); Chairman, Dangote Group, Alhaji Aliko Dangote; Chairman, Honeywell Group, Oba Ayoola Otudeko; Mazi Sam Ohuabunwa and other eminent Nigerians have called for ways to pursue revolutionalising entrepreneurship in Nigeria.

They argued that entrepreneurial development in Nigeria remains a far cry when compared to other developing countries in the world noting that for the economy to grow, there should be more focus on the private sector and less reliance on big corporations.

CBN to reduce interest rate on N220bn MSMSE Fund - Vanguard News

 The Acting Director, Development Finance Department of CBN, Mr Mudashir Olaitan, disclosed this  at a workshop organised by the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC) for business editors and finance correspondents in Kashina.
Olaitan said that the CBN is passionately committed to the Fund, and is seeking for avenues to improve access to the fund, especially for participating financial institutions.
He said that  the challenges confronting implementation of the Fund are low awareness and reluctance of financial institutions to participate in the Fund.
