Naira today
is exchanging for between #400 to a US dollar a situation which is
unprecedented in the economic history of Nigeria. Nigerians couldn’t have been
bothered about the exchange rate if we had not put all our eggs in the OPEC
basket for a very long time instead of diversifying the economy. Nigeria’s
economy has been run purely on the proceeds of crude oil while sacrificing
other natural resources that was once goldmines in the comity of nations.
Have you ever
considered going into export business at all? The export business may sound wearisome
and capital intensive, however, it is more lucrative and rewarding than many
other small, medium or big businesses we are familiar with. Most of the
developing economies of the world have continued to stay on the rung of the
ladder due to the exponential incomes from exporting an array of products and
services. Now is the right time to go into Agro export business because the
government of the day has formulated policies that will encourage, boost and
support the Agro allied sector of the economy. Prior to this CHANGE era, I had
been conducting an extensive research on how to start an agro-export business
while still doing my normal business, I carried out surveys, read enough
articles and spoken to few exporters on the possibilities and prospects of
starting a small agro export business, the response was very encouraging and I decided
that whenever the opportunities presented itself again I will give it a try.
Do you know
Agro export business is bigger than OIL business throughout the whole world?
Do you know
you can start an Agro export business without quitting your day job?
Do you also
know that Buhari’s government has earmarked huge budget for people who are
interested in agro allied export business?
Do you
equally know that the dollar to naira dilemma could turn you to overnight
millionaire with agro export business?
Do you know
with agro allied export business, you could be on your way to become
international business man or woman?
Do you
desire to contribute to the GDP of Nigeria economy?
Do you wish
to create employment opportunities for the teeming unemployed youths in
Nigeria?
As part of
measures to diversify the economy and move away from over-dependency on oil, government
is looking at funding the agro allied sector by injecting adequate funds;
provide incentives to exporters and assisting would-be agro exporters to
fulfill their dreams. I have been able to gather sufficient information to at
least have an insight into the agro-export business; I will be talking about
the agro-export products that will quickly bring the desired income. I will
also talk about how to formalize your registration with relevant authorities
and many other pre-requisites of the agro-export business.
