Nigeria-China
Business Council to host investors in Lagos.
The
Nigeria-China Business Council (NCBC) is set to host a trade
delegation of investors from Honk Kong, China, as part of efforts to
strengthen business ties between both countries.
Ms
Bisola Lawal, Spokesperson for the NCBC told the News Agency of
Nigeria (NAN) on Monday in Lagos that the event is scheduled for
March 30 and April 5 in Lagos.
It
is also being organised by the NCBC, in collaboration with the Hong
Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC).
She
said the main targets of the delegates were Nigerian businessmen
involved in the importation of consumer products/ household goods,
toys, home appliances and fashion items.
Lawal
said the visit would feature networking programmes, seminars, market
visits and meetings with Nigerian entrepreneurs, who are interested
in having business partnerships with Chinese Businessmen.
He
said that the objective of the visit was to create a networking
platform for the Hong Kong delegates to have a one-on-one business
meeting with Nigerian entrepreneurs.
Lawal
added that 11 Hong Kong companies specialising in electrical home
appliances, consumer electronics, diapers and external analgesic
products will participate in the expo.
Others
are specialists in clothing, building materials, hair care and other
household products. (NAN)
