5 HIDDEN SECRETS THAT EARNED ME THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS FROM BLOGGING

Many aspiring bloggers desires to be like linda ikeji, ladunliadi, Seun Osewa of nairaland, Jide Ogunsanya of Ogbonge blog, Abiyamo, naij.com, hollalaycan.com and a host of others. However, many of the so called newbie relies solely on adsense and cpa/cpc as a way of making fortunes from blogging and they failed to understand the logic and secrets behind every successful blogger out there. As for me and just like every other successful blogger mentioned above, there are a whole lot of earning potentials in blogging aside from pulling traffic, adsense, adverts, etc.

One of the best way i earned from blogging is through commissions, whenever i write about a particular business the readers sees me as an authority and they either send me a mail for further information or call to book an appointment, the moment an appointment is booked, i charged for a consultancy fee(minimum 30k) and should there be an opportunity for the client to take the business further, i will recommend him/her to trusted companies who will supply the requisite skill or materials to execute the projects and i get paid for commission which sometimes runs into hundreds of thousands.

5 Ways to Keep Your Productivity High All Day

5 Ways to Keep Your Productivity High All Day

Waking up earlier and getting into full activity mode can help you get more done the entire day. You should also start your day on a positive note. While most people tend to focus on what they've not been able to accomplish the previous day, resetting your priorities and attacking the new day’s goals is key to making the best use of your time.
Keep the phone and emails aside and start with some mind-stimulating exercises such as lifting weights and doing yoga. The workouts will get your blood flowing  and pump you up for work, while yoga will help you clear your mind.

HOW TO QUIT SMOKING FOR REAL: MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE

Quitting smoking is not an easy task but with a strong WILL coupled with sheer determination the habit could be forgone and never revisited again. I had cultivated the habit of not smoking at all during the Ramadan fasting periods even before I quitted the act indefinitely, there was always the resolution not to go back to the chimney culture after the end of Ramadan fasting but the innate urge and social inclinations takes center stage in that ultimate decision to quit smoking for real .  Even after you stop smoking, there are quite a few physical and neurological symptoms your body goes through. Depression is also among the most common negative effects of quitting smoking.
Catchy slogans make people mindful of the need to stop smoking because of its life-threatening consequences on health. There are a number of memories and habits connected with smoking, for instance, some folks start their day in the toilet with a stick of cigarette while answering the nature’s call. I was a victim of this entrapment for some years in the bachelorhood world where freedom to exhibit exuberance is absolute and unlimited.
Now that we've seen the psychological unwanted side effects of stopping smoking, let's also take a look at physical ones. Stopping smoking is the start of the program that may help cleanse the body after many years of toxin development. Smoking causes buildup of toxins within the body particularly in the lungs. Once somebody quits smoking, the body attempts to eradicate the damaging chemicals which might have accumulated overtime. Your lungs begin to clear out mucus and other smoking debris, whilst carbon monoxide will likely be completely purged out of the body in the following days. It'll take somewhere around a decade for you to really go off the radar of lung cancer, or some of the various different cancers linked with smoking.

You can get free quit-smoking products in many supermarkets and chain stores spread across the country. Some methods to acquire free quit smoking products come in the likeness of leisure and extracurricular activities. Many a times these campaigns are sponsored by a number of NGO’s, HMO’s, Government agencies, Religious bodies, etc and they're quite helpful though. It's not uncommon for several two-pack per day, twenty something years smokers to quit, after their very first session.

BEFORE I SACKED MY BOSS HERE IS WHAT I DID AS A SELF-EMPLOYED AND WORK-AT-HOME ENTREPRENEUR

“I’ve missed more than 9,000 shots in my career. I’ve lost almost 300 games. 26 times I’ve been trusted to take the game's winning shot and missed. I’ve failed over and over and over again in my life and that's why I succeed.” - Michael Jordan

I have never come across any successful business person who said it was easy being an entrepreneur. Bill Gates of Microsoft, Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook, Aliko Dangote of Dangote group, Ryan Graves Of Uber, Femi Otedola Of Zenon, Linda Ikeji, Jan Koum of whatsapp, Razak Okoya of Eleganza, etc, all have some tales to tell about the pros and cons of entrepreneurship. Are you ready for product launch or you're in the early stages of your startup, just been availed funding for your startup, there will always be a time when you ask yourself if this whole entrepreneur thing is worth it at all.

With the current economic recession biting hard on the fortunes of Nigerian economy in terms of dwindling earnings from oil proceeds, federal monthly allocations has shrunk considerably resulting in many states of the federation unable to fulfill their financial obligations. Salaries are being owed, pensions are not paid to retirees, leave allowances and bonuses are owed in billions, infrastructural developments and social welfare is in a state of comatose and ultimately there is continuous rise in the prices of commodities especially staple foods and amidst all of these is daily job loss and pay cut by companies.

Consequently, the recession hit the private sector more as they rely heavily on the patronages of the public sector for survival and profiteering. However, the recession has led to the collapse and closure of many once thriving businesses with large numbers of employees and staff. Many laid-off employees have resorted to self-empowerment or work at home entrepreneurs due to the misfortune brought about by the mismanagement of the economy by our leaders and private sector stakeholders.
Before you jump out of the ship of 9-5job, I would rather advised that you start something by the side while still on you current employment, set some funds aside to sustain the period of learning a new trade, or better still keep your salary job until the coast is clear to sail away to the entrepreneurial world.  I started testing the waters of entrepreneurship while still receiving salary from Guaranty Trust Bank Plc, I was doing part-time consultancy in the area of business proposals, company registrations, Tax filings and so on. I saved some amount of money and borrowed some funds from friends and family members to eventually kick-start the brand name I am known for today, PROSPECTIVE IDEAS NIG ENT. This little company has turnover millions of naira in sales and commissions, the ultimate thing to do right from the outset is to know what you really want to achieve with your new found sojourn. ‘FAILURE TO PLAN IS PLANNING TO FAIL

DOES NIGERIAN JUSTICES AND JUDGES OF THE COURTS REALLY DESERVE TO BE ADDRESSED AS ‘MY LORD’?

With the ongoing clampdown on judges for alleged corrupt practices, have we really demystified the open and secret powers of the members of the judiciary?

Judges and justices are court officials who make the final decision in every case that is brought to a court of law. Depending on the jurisdiction, they can sit on the bench (Justices) anywhere between six to eight years. Judges and justices must retire at least by the age of 70.

Justices are found on a state’s Appeals Court and Supreme Court. A higher court justice can either be elected or appointed.
So, has the Supreme Court Justices and Federal Judges been demystified by DSS and EFCC?

First, what is demystification?

Demystification is defined as the removal of mystery, suspense or confusion surrounding a subject. When an unexplained and mysterious vision is suddenly explained, this is an example of demystification.

These third arms of many democratic system of government have enjoyed undeserved privileges by virtue of their position in the society, unfortunately, the authority and power vested with them has really been abused, misused and unjustly applied.

How To Get Started With Adsense

A very important element in the rapid adoption of AdSense is that it has been very easy for publishers to get the ads on their site as quickly as possible.

Integrating AdSense in your website takes only a few minutes, and you can be on your way with one or more nicely integrated AdSense ads.

The first thing you need to do is navigate to http://www.google.com/adsense and either apply or log in with your existing account and password. What follows is a page presenting the Google AdSense Terms and Conditions which you must agree to in order to proceed.

You are presented with a report page which you can use to get a detailed status on how your AdSense advertising is doing. This allows you to improve your site's contents and layout to maximize your AdSense earnings.

On the top of your page you also have link to the setup section where you can generate the code that will need to be pasted on your website in order to have AdSense banners on your page.

You can use AdSense for text (the said ads), using a search box or with referrals. Your choice among these options depends on how users will navigate your site.

Finally, there is a "My Account" tab which allows you to set up details concerning your account, payment and tax information.

To add a text ad on your site, go back to the "AdSense Setup" tab and click the "AdSense for content" link. Make sure you have cookies enabled in your browser.

You can make a choice between ad units and link units. The former contain text and or images concerning a certain site for each unit, most with a detailed description, the latter only contain links to certain types.

Of course, it's a bit hard to know which type you should use so you should probably experiment with both for a while before you decide.

You can also view an example of how the unit will look to the right of your page. However, you may only use three ad units and one link unit on any given page. This is believed to be a step which Google takes for quality control.

The next step is to choose your add format and colors. You can basically select any color palette you choose with Google offering some of its own if you don't have the time or skill to create one. You can constantly view how the palette will look through the aid of an example. The one that works best in

LIST OF SMALL BUSINESSES WITH LITTLE OR NO START-UP CAPITAL

It is becoming increasingly difficult to make ends meet with just one income source. Thus more and more people are investigating the possibilities of starting their own extra income home business. Most of these part time endeavors are started and operated from the comfort of their home.
Before you start: the first thing you must do however is some basic market research. Find out for yourself, first-hand, just how many people will be interested in your proposed products or services, and would be willing to stand in line and pay money for it.
This is known as defining your market and identifying your prospective customers. If after checking around telling people about your ideas, with a whole lot of people over a period between 1 – 3 weeks, you get the idea that these people would be paying customers; your next effort should be directly towards the “detailing” of your business plan.

5 AMAZING REASONS WHY FACEBOOK FOUNDER MARK ZUCKERBERG WEARS THE SAME T-SHIRT EVERY DAY.

It is no longer news that Facebook Founder, Mark Zuckerberg, arrived Nigeria on 30th August 2016 unannounced, he is an “august visitor” indeed. The 32-year-old facebook founder surprisingly made a sudden visit and inspection of activities at the Co-Creation Hub, Yaba Lagos.
Mark Zuckerberg’s visit was a top secret and nobody was meant to know before his arrival. It was actually for security reasons but now that he is here, the news is all over Nigeria and the whole world at large. However, what I found amazing about Mark Zuckerberg whose Net worth is $54.2Billion and making him the 7th richest person in the world is the simplicity in his dress mode. He has been wearing the same T-shirt almost on daily basis and on all occasions except on Monday 29th August, wearing a piece of suit when he met with Pope Francis in Italy.

Here are the 5 main reasons why facebook founder, Mark Zuckerberg wears the same T-shirt casual uniform over and over again before.
1.     BRAND BUILDING: Wearing the same thing every day is an essential part of brand-building. Zuckerberg’s grey marl T-shirt sends a message that Facebook is for the popcorn-eating good-guy enjoying well-earned downtime. He’s playing the game. Why pretend any different?
2.     Mark Zuckerberg has the highest disregard for frivolities and silly clamorous pieces of items that add no real values. He can be up and doing in the shortest possible time with his T-shirt.
3.     QUIICK AND FAST DECISION MAKING: The signature grey T-shirt allows him to make very fast decision because he is not bothered with color, designer, style, label and

WORLD BREASTFEEDING WEEK 1ST - 7TH AUGUST: WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF BREASTFEEDING FOR YOUR BABY?

World Breastfeeding Week is celebrated every year from 1 to 7 August to encourage breastfeeding and improve the health of babies around the world.
It commemorates the Innocenti Declaration signed in August 1990 by government policymakers, WHO, UNICEF and other organizations to protect, promote and support breastfeeding.

Breastfeeding is the best way to provide infants with the nutrients they need. WHO recommends exclusive breastfeeding starting within one hour after birth until a baby is 6 months old. Nutritious complementary foods should then be added while continuing to breastfeed for up to 2 years or beyond.
This year, WHO is encouraging people to “Support mums to breastfeed anytime, anywhere,” as all of society has a role to play in making our communities more breastfeeding-friendly.

Breast milk provides the ideal nutrition for infants. It has a nearly perfect mix of vitamins, protein, and fat -- everything your baby needs to grow. And it's all provided in a form more easily digested than infant formula. Breast milk contains antibodies that help your baby fight off viruses and bacteria. Breastfeeding lowers your baby's risk of having asthma or allergies. Plus, babies who are breastfed exclusively for the first 6 months, without any formula, have fewer ear infections, respiratory illnesses, and bouts of diarrhea. They also have fewer hospitalizations and trips to the doctor.

Breastfeeding has been linked to higher IQ scores in later childhood in some studies. What's more, the physical closeness, skin-to-skin touching, and eye

7 BUSINESSES YOU CAN DO AFTER 9-5 HOUR SALARY JOBS.

1.     BUSINESS CONSULTING: Many people do not understand the concept of business consulting and as a matter of fact, we sometimes believed that a business must have a physical office space to render services to prospective clients. I have learnt over time that if you are an expert in a particular field, clients will never mind to meet with you at any convenient place other than a corporate office. So, as a business consultant, you can schedule meetings and inspections till the close of work from your salary jobs.

2.      E-COMMERCE: I carried out a marketing exercise for a client in June, she has an online store called MARTLOUNGE, what I found amazing about her is the zeal which she put into the business despite her having a well paid job. She closes around 5pm and set for a shop at Opebi, Ikeja, Lagos-State where her store manager handles the many requests of the buyers. This business does not require you to be on ground from 9am-5pm to be successful in it. Why not give it a shot today.

3.     INFORMATION MARKETING: In this present age and time, information and time is a big income earner, I have sold a number of e-books, reports and information products even in the middle of the night. All that is needed is the knowledge of a particular problem and the solution crafted in writing, software or apps. People are always ready to pay for information they can’t source themselves. Take advantage of the internet after the close of work to source for trending issues and problems confronting the society, tap into such niche and provide an e-book, reports and manuals and see how the residual income flows in.

4.     BECOME A TRAINER: If there is a particular skill, hobby or leisure activities you are known for, why not make arrangement to teach people for a small fee. It does not only bring residual income aside your salary, it also makes you an authority in that field. A dog trainer, music teachers, fitness instructors, motivational speakers, etc are many of the ventures that can be done after your regular salary 9am-5pm jobs.

5.     DIGITAL MARKETING SERVICES: At least I have more than 5 facebook pages I manage even though not all belongs to me, I write articles, drive traffic and manage these social media accounts and get rewarded afterwards. Most often than not, I do all these after I have finished the day’s work.

6.     BLOGGING: Blogging is one of the easier methods for building residual income. Thousands of bloggers create content daily on topics as diverse as entertainment, health, marriages, arts, education, lifestyle and more. Through a combination of marketing to subscribers, affiliate marketing, ad revenue and sponsorships, these bloggers are growing revenues daily, and you too can have a bite of the pie if you have the requisite skills. You can blog for just 2-3hours after work and still earn a decent income.

7.     WEDDING AND EVENT PLANNER: There are more than enough professional event planners out there than anyone could imagine, and needless to say, the industry is competitive. At the same time, however, millions of people host different events each year, so the opportunity to succeed and profit is available to those willing to get out there and make things happen. You can become a brand name by just planning and organizing one or two successful event in the society. You don’t need all the day to become an expert in event planning.

DO YOU NEED AN EXTRA INCOME: START SMALL AS AN ONLINE BUSINESS ENTREPRENEUR

Thinking about starting a business to earn extra income but not sure how to begin? The first step is to find a business idea that you are knowledgeable about, a business venture that goes with your passion, suits your needs, lifestyle and budget. The modern day challenge does not allow for sloppiness when it comes to matter of income generation. The global economy is at the moment witnessing shortfalls here and there, a single source of income is not enough to cater for the never-ending needs and aspirations of the ordinary people and the more reason to engage in extra-activities to augment your salary or current earnings.
I started trying my hands on some online business even before I tendered my resignation letter in 2009, I was into paypal business and some other browsing tweaks at that period, however, being an online entrepreneur is very pleasing but not everyone can become one. One of the fastest and simplest ways to become a successful entrepreneur is by working online either through a home-based entrepreneur business or from your current paid job via your PC, Phones and other internet enabled devices.

Firstly, you need to evaluate your strengths and weaknesses. After the evaluation, you can now determine if you can manage your own online business. Aside from the evaluation process, you must know how to plan, organize, staff, and control. These are your responsibilities as an entrepreneur. You should be able to work alone because now you're the boss and all business decisions will be made by you.

Some say that online businesses can be run without many problems. Well, they are very wrong because even with an online business, you have to deal with certain business problems and risks. You can't eliminate such risks because that goes hand in hand with any business undertaking, both for online and offline businesses. However, you can reduce the risks that you're bound to deal with in the future by choosing the best home-based entrepreneur business that will work for you.

Entrepreneurs are known to be self-starters. Organizing your time is a difficult task but if you want to run a home-based online business, you should be able to do it. Remember, you don’t have a boss that you can rely on. This is your business and you have to be responsible for it at all times.

Related article...http://hollalaycan.blogspot.com.ng/2016/05/7-most-important-guidelines-for-first.html

Running your own business would also mean that you have to deal with different kinds of persons. You will surely encounter demanding customers, moody vendors, and an unreliable staff. To become a successful home-based business entrepreneur, you should know how to deal with them individually. You should know the peculiarity of every person that you encounter so that you can address them and the situation correctly.

Running an online business is all about your attitude and character. According to some experts who conducted researches about the characteristics of entrepreneurs, there are certain traits that an entrepreneur should possess. As mentioned earlier, entrepreneurs
