LIST OF SMALL BUSINESSES WITH LITTLE OR NO START-UP CAPITAL

It is becoming increasingly difficult to make ends meet with just one income source. Thus more and more people are investigating the possibilities of starting their own extra income home business. Most of these part time endeavors are started and operated from the comfort of their home.
Before you start: the first thing you must do however is some basic market research. Find out for yourself, first-hand, just how many people will be interested in your proposed products or services, and would be willing to stand in line and pay money for it.
This is known as defining your market and identifying your prospective customers. If after checking around telling people about your ideas, with a whole lot of people over a period between 1 – 3 weeks, you get the idea that these people would be paying customers; your next effort should be directly towards the “detailing” of your business plan.

7 Top Revealing Secrets On How Best To Conquer Fear of Business Start-ups

I have encountered many obstacles in the last 7 years when I took a dive in the entrepreneurship pool in order to grow my small business idea to a brand name of my dream. At some point, I have been rejected and my proposal turned down many a times, not because my idea is neither fantastic nor needed but rather, maybe it was not just my luck. However, I have also had cause to secure contracts where I least expected and sometimes those opportunities arrived on a platter of gold. From my personal experiences and research, I have identified some limitations often faced by start-up businesses and entrepreneurs and these are the recipe to overcome such fear:

1.     START ON A SMALL SCALE: To overcome business fear well ahead of time, it is usually more advisable to start your company on a little scale and gradually figure out ways to expand the exact same without wasting more cash on wrong resources. If you don't get to a greater degree, you will lose the chance for further business. In regards to your own business you don't want fear since it will prevent you from stepping from the comfort zone and also you won't have the capacity to grow. When it comes to second example of what the majority of individuals fear in starting an extra business, it's the financial strain of the startup expenses, regardless of your financial status.

2.     BEGIN YOUR BUSINESS WITH A PROFITABLE SMALL BUSINESS: No matter your sort of business, if you're in sales, you may be required to do a little bit of form of `Prospecting' for leads and customers. Be certain to identify a profitable small business model, and then you have limited your exposure to risk or loss. This is sometime applicable if you're into a small business opportunity. Fear begins in your thoughts and you have to employ your mind to conquer fear particularly if you desire to increase sales for your personal business. Selling doesn't have to become a fearful experience!

3.     IDENTIFY YOUR GREATEST FEAR IN BUSINESS: Many small business owners I've related with had one small business fears or the other. Small business success is all about realizing the real fears from the ones which are self-imposed. In truth, it really is subtle and the majority of people don't recognize this is holding them back from having a prosperous business and a great life. If your inner drive is weaker than the physical energy propelling your business, there is bound to be apprehension and this could lead to business failure and eventual shutdown of such business venture. The final move is to consider the objections which are stopping you from closing the company.

4.     BE READY TO TAKE A PLUNGE: When I left Gtbank in 2009, I never wished to go back into the banking job for any reason whatsoever due to so many reasons which are currently manifesting as a result of economic recession, job insecurity, career growth, delusional bankers life, etc. The anxiety about success will allow you to avoid taking action to surely have a thriving business enterprise. Don't forget, small business success isn't about the amount of times you fail but about how many times you have overcome the challenges of being a successful business personality.

5.     SEEK MENTORING AND TRAINING: I have lost counts of how many trainings, seminars and business mentoring attended in the last 10years after my National Youth Service scheme (NYSC) and I still attend trainings till this very moment despite offering such to people as well. You need to ask the leaders of your own enterprise whether they have training along with a proven way that will help build your business. You need to master a few techniques to boost your communication skills in order to

How To Achieve So Much Through Positive Thinking

Positive thinking is a mental attitude that expects good and favorable outcomes from life. A mind that is in a positive state allows you to anticipate happiness, health and a successful outcome from every situation and action. But in order to think positively, you first have to change your emotional and mental approach towards yourself, other people and situations.
·      Choose to be positive
No matter what your life is like, the choice to be more positive is 100% up to you. You have to make a conscious choice to conquer the negativity that is around you. Do not allow people and situations to dictate how you react towards life events but take control over your own attitude.

·      Create positive affirmations.
Positive affirmations are positive statements which you repeatedly tell yourself. They can help develop a positive mindset, thereby improving your emotional and mental well-being and self-esteem.

·      Associate with positive people
Negativity is contagious. So is positivism. Avoid being around those who sap your energy and motivation with their relentless negativity. Surrounding yourself with positive people who will support you and encourage you.

·      Get out of your comfort zone
Trying new things and new experiences can do wonders to enhance your positive outlook on life. Something as simple as learning to play the guitar can lead to new sensations and the satisfaction that comes with acquiring a new skill.

·      Set concrete goals
Set concrete, tangible goals for yourself no matter how impossible it may seem at the moment. Keep yourself focused on working towards these goals. The achievement of each goal, no matter

HOW TO START YOUR OWN BUSINESS EVEN WHILE ON 9-5 JOB

Six years ago I was still an employee of Guaranty Trust Bank plc and my salary was a little below N100K monthly, basically I lived on a tight budget while on the job. Bankers as we all know mostly, liked to live the happier than thou lifestyle but most of us lived a borrowed life, our car is acquired through Loan, our furniture is bought on credit, the house we lived in is secured through mortgage loan as well, even our shirts, suits and shoes that we make ‘shakara’ with is usually acquired on credit. Some of us even go as far borrowing money to float an elaborate wedding after which the marital institution fell off like a pack of domino when the center holds no more. Millions of people are desperate to escape the 9 to 5 job; one popular alternative is to look for a business opportunity that turns you from an employee into a self-employed entrepreneur running your own business. See related article…http://hollalaycan.blogspot.com.ng/2015/11/should-you-stick-to-your-present-job-or.html
There are many good reasons why this can be a wise move. Being your own boss means you can set your own hours and decide when the shot is called by not waiting for a superior order from above. This can be very important if your present income is not commensurate with your efforts, or simply you wish to spend more time with your family at home. Working from the comfort of your home can also save valuable time spent in traffic gridlocks, if the alternative is spending two or three hours every day commuting back and forth to your work place. And perhaps, working for yourself also gives you the opportunity to diversify and makes more money than your present job offers. Read related article.. http://hollalaycan.blogspot.com.ng/2015/06/are-you-still-in-paid-employment-11.html
Fortunately, being your own boss gives you that priceless commodity called liberty. It sets you free from the confines of being someone else's paid employee, and in return makes you in charge of your own future. As a self-employed entrepreneur you are free to set your own timing, establish your own work routine, choose what work you will do or will not do, it afford you to create your own products, build your own customers, and do what you have to do to make those customers contented.
And perhaps most importantly, when you are self-employed you are free to set your own prices and make as much or as little income as you are able. You will not have to answer to anyone other than yourself, your suppliers, and of course, the regulatory authorities after your business becomes booming.

How do you get started -- Two Options
There are two apparent ways you can go about starting your own business. The first option is to quit your day job and launch full bore into your new business. This can be referred to as the "Plunge Approach". The second way is to continue with your current employment and develop a business on the side, in your spare time. We'll call this the "Auxiliary Instance Approach".

Based on your situational circumstance, taking Plunge Approach can be either an act of courage or just plain carelessness. Unless you are autonomously wealthy, planning and

9 SECRET TRAITS OF AN EFFECTIVE ENTREPRENEUR

An entrepreneur’s responsibility would be to satisfy his clients in order to fulfill the objective of being business which is profit and freedom. It is not out of place to say that he should see his customers as his patients and what they must have to survive a present predicament or a need. He must follow certain steps before doing anything irrational that could contribute to the downfall of his business. He should have certain characteristics innate in his personality for if he lacks one of these, he’s most probably doomed to fail.
Entrepreneurship is collectively defined as exhibiting one’s vision, taking action, and pursuing that vision as a goal to be achieved in life as service to reality. In the meaningless definition, it’s getting yourself out of that couch and doing something rather than fulfilling your life’s destiny of being a couch potato. Highlighted below are some of the distinct attitudes an entrepreneur should positively have:

4.     CREATIVITY – It is thinking outside the box, expanding one’s mind of what is beyond the ordinary through fine research and collection of data.
5.     STABILITY – Either physical, mental, social or emotional, a leader must possess a stable life which means he could handle tough situations during tough times.

NO CAPITAL OR FUND? 7 WAYS TO EARN MONEY ONLINE BEFORE YOU EVEN HAVE A PRODUCT

If you are fond of Waiting until you have a product of your own to make money online, it means you’re missing out on a lot of potential profit that you could be making while you get your own products ready.
You don’t want to waste the opportunity chasing banks and family friends who will provide the needed fund to commence your business. I have seen a whole lot of people with brilliant and promising business ideas but they were unable to actualize their dreams. Even before I found my way around the solution to creating means to make residual income before the main product it was an onerous task, I applied for Loans, Grants and fund solicitation from friends but none of those sources was fruitful.

However, you can still make money by the side with these tips pending when the BIG BANG! Happen. Here are the few steps you can take to realize your dream potentials:
1.     First, create a plan or a map of how much money you’d like to earn online and then take the steps to fulfill that plan. If you don’t have a plan or a marketing strategy to use to make money, then you won’t be as successful. 9 GENUINE REASONS YOU SHOULD START A USED CAR BUSINESS.

REASON 1. YOU DO NOT NEED A BIG CAR LOT WITH MASSIVE OVERHEAD: You can choose to be low key and sell just one car at a time, or five cars at a time, or twenty cars...or a have a huge car lot with one hundred cars. It’s up to you and what you want to do. I suggest you start small. And for what it’s worth, I've never had a car lot and have sold some few cars in the past through OLX and Nairaland. There are so many online platforms where you can display your cars for sale, many of these online shops are free to register with, all you need is one or two verification documents and you can advertise for FREE!

REASON 2. YOU DO NOT NEED LOTS OF MONEY TO START: I have a banker friend who started with only $1,000...and he has bought much cheaper cars than that in the past 2 years, he even bought some for as little as $500 on Copart, AIAA, American Auction, etc. And if you think you had to put hundreds of thousands of naira before the car is sold, then you may be wrong! Some of the car required only a little above N50k to get it ready for selling and its sometimes

UNEMPLOYMENT AND INCOME INEQUALITY: BUHARI WILL NOT PERFORM IF HE FAILS TO ADDRESS THESE BURNING ISSUES.

Anyone going into Internet marketing always wants to know how long it will take to find success. While success can be different for each person, the underlying question beneath it all is, “How long will it be until I start making steady money?”

The answer to that is that it’s different for every person because it depends on your idea of success as well as many other factors. Some of the other factors involved will even vary from marketer to marketer.
You might be able to see your first sale the very first week that you’re in business as a marketer, yet on the flip side of that fast first week sale, you could toil all year long before you ever see the first dime for all of your efforts.
What is it that makes the difference between faster profits and having to wait? One of the factors could be the way you’ve set up the business - the model that you use in your strategy for success.

Another factor could be how much time you have to put into the business. Obviously, the more time you have to work the business, the faster you’ll reach

FREEDOM OF CONSCIENCE: THIS BELIEF CAN DRIVE YOUR PASSION TO START A BUSINESS OF YOUR OWN.

In this day and age, more and more employees maintain they should be provided an unqualified legal right to refuse work activities that violate their ethical, moral, personal, or religious convictions or beliefs—in short, their conscience. This assertion has become one of the more controversial issues confronting the labour force. However, the Global economic crisis and weak labour laws/policy has made the employers of labour to be so powerful that casual workers abound in every countries of the world. As a matter of fact, how does FREEDOM OF CONSCIENCE propel the knack for a successful start-up business?

According to Thesaurus, Freedom of thought is the right to hold unpopular ideas.
Also, legally (law), any basic right or freedom to which all human beings are entitled and in whose exercise a government may not interfere (including rights to life and liberty as well as freedom of thought and expression and equality before the law).

According to Wikipedia it defines freedom of conscience as the freedom of an individual to hold or consider a fact, viewpoint, or thought, independent of others' viewpoints. It is different from and not to be confused with the concept of freedom of speech or expression.

More recently, efforts to ensure that people could not be forced to facilitate practices or procedures to which they object for reasons of conscience have expanded to the general workforce. Like religion in the workplace, the conscience trend presents an extraordinary challenge to employers. The broad definitions of conscience that are offered both in existing law and in pending legislation, mean that employers will face an increasing challenge regarding how they choose to conduct their business. A recent experience actually triggered this write up, I actually had a client who need the service of a website developer to build a user interface Dating Site, and for the little knowledge I have acquired in Software Marketing I already knew what functionalities the Dating site requires. I promptly called a guy whom I knew could do the magic and he in return asks to speak with the client in question, unfortunately, the deal couldn’t be brokered because the FREEDOM OF CONSCIENCE is at play. The guy who was supposed to develop the website declined the job because it is in conflict with his belief as a Jehovah Witness member. This job was easy to reject because the Website developer is the owner of his business and could possibly dictate what kind of offer to accept and reject should a case of conflict of interest arose.

There are many factors responsible for the triggering of FREEDOM OF CONSCIENCE, such factors could be:-

1.     Religious Inclinations
2.     Cultural Beliefs
3.     Societal Values
4.     Government Legislations
5.     Work Ethics and Rules
6.     Personal Beliefs and convictions
7.     Mental and Psychological Dispositions
8.     Free Will

The Overriding effect of FREEDOM OF CONSCIENCE can be juxtaposed based on these two approaches. The first is the “free market” method. In this approach people should consider possible conflicts between their conscience and workplace demands before taking a job. Accepting the job is accepting to do whatever the job entails irrespective of one’s beliefs, and the employer owes no duty to try to comply with those beliefs.

The Second approach is to really find out  why being an entrepreneur is much better than a j-o-b. When you’re an entrepreneur, you get to set the goals, you get to choose the direction your business takes and which projects will be the best fit for your endeavor. Running your own business allows you the freedom to change directions, work your own hours, and avoid the frustrating commute and the knowledge that you never have to worry about being laid off again due to your FREEDOM OF CONSCIENCE.

I personally belong to the group of people who believes this freedom of conscience phenomenon can serve as a guide to starting a business of your own if painstakingly managed. We are in a world where everyone has the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion. Therefore I strongly believed that if this freedom of conscience is universally proclaimed, more and more people will venture into entrepreneurship as a means of livelihood.
